34°53′N 82°42′W — Foothills, Upstate South Carolina
We provide the battleground for simulated war games. Drop in whenever, or schedule ahead. Register, plan your move, and step onto a field built for people who take the work seriously.
Operating procedure
Create your member profile, sign your waiver, and verify your identity. Membership tiers and first-responder rates are set out below.
Reserve a slot or check the live field status and drop in. The field opens only when a safety officer is on duty — never unsupervised.
Chronograph in, gear up, and deploy. Run a campaign objective or open play. Field capacity is capped at 120 players for safety and fire code.
Who it’s for
Upcountry War Games provides simulated tactical training for people who want realism, structure, and a reason to keep their edge — not a birthday party.
Veterans who miss the work and want a credible field to run it on again.
Law enforcement, fire, and EMS keeping decision-making and movement honest under pressure.
Everyday men who want to stay sharp, learn, and compete against people who hold the line.
The campaign system
Every month we run a unique campaign — built by military history professionals and designed to simulate the uncertainties of real warfare. Each campaign runs one full week per month. The rest of the month, the course is open for training and group use.
If you can’t read military time, this isn’t for you.
Order of battle — 2027
Twelve campaigns, each drawn from history, each with a single objective and a twist that changes how you fight. One full week per month.
Enlistment
Membership covers field access outside of monthly campaigns. Campaign entry is priced separately, with reduced rates for members and for ex-military and first responders.
Annual membership
Grants access to the field for training and group use. Excludes monthly campaign entry.

After the field
Network and connect with UWG veterans at our pub, The Prancing Pony. It’s where the after-action talk happens — the part of the day where the people who were on the field actually get to know each other.
